Loky is born somewhere in 1999, we know that from her banding. When she was very young she broken her wing and nobody that care of here wing. It's all happened in a pet story somewhere in the Netherlands. A bird with a broken is not good to sell so friends of us get Loky for almost nothing in the pet shop. Her wings was still broken, but she was so sweet and loving.

When she moved in by our friends she meets there other 6 cockatiels and Loky is placed in a big cages in the living room. The other birds a much stronger so Loky gets no food and things like that. Because the other cockatiel were faster and they can also fly. Loky gets after 2 day's a separate cage. That's where we came in Loky's live. We get Loky for 2 a 3 weeks to train her, and to give her some rest...

When she came a our place we saw after one day that her wing was one big mess and we take her to a really good parrot vet in the Netherlands. He said to us, the Loky wings is lost and to save her live the vet's need to cut a part of here wing. Because of the broken she walks also not good and she falls a lot of times. We trust the vet a he operates Loky's wing. You can see on the big photo Loky one day after her wing is operate and she's wearing a small mall a round her neck. So Loky can bite in her "new" wing. But she hate the mall around her neck

Because Loky can't fly and her wings is better now, we take her always outside when the sun is shining. All the children in the likes Loky a lot, because Loky is really easy cockatiel, so everybody likes here.
